Placing limits on the number of guests allowed per cardmember seems to be a negative change on the surface. Alaska and Virgin America adding new routes: The enhancements keep coming for Alaska and Virgin America. They are adding new routes from San Francisco and San Jose. The routes that seem appealing to me are the San Francisco to Kona, and the San Francisco to Mexico City routes. New routes mean new ideas to burn your points/miles.
