Major Changes To Marriott Awards:  In my opinion, Marriott’s loyalty program is making a lot of negative changes here lately and it’s frustrating.  Sometimes I wish we could go back to the good old days with SPG.

Ideas For Your Marriott Free Night Certificate:  Speaking of Marriott, their credit cards do offer free night certificates that easily outweigh the cost of the annual fee when booking at the right properties.  Here’s a few ideas where you can use those free night certificates.

What Credit Cards To Use For Airbnb:  Many travelers, especially those travelling in a large group or with family, like using Airbnb for their accommodations as it could save them a lot of money.  Here are some smart card options to make it more affordable!

Flying To Hawaii For Free:  We discuss Hawaii a lot on Travel Miles 101, which is why we’re always looking for ideas on how to get there for cheap.  Here are 5 options that you can use for your “free” flights!

Visa Checkout To Shut Down:  There are reports that Visa Checkout will be shutting down in 2020.  This is interesting because I wonder if MasterCard and American Express will follow suit as well?

Earn 1500 MR Points:  Amex is acquiring Resy, a dining reservation platform, and with that you can earn some bonus MR points when you dine out through Resy.  Earn 500 points each time, up to 3 times.

Global Entry Blunders:  One of the nice things about this community is learning from other people’s mistakes.  With many of us enjoying “free” global entry, here’s a renewal mistake you’ll want to avoid.
