New Amex Travel Credit:  One of my biggest annoyances with the Amex Platinum is the $200 airline incidental credit.  You have to select an airline and it’s difficult to use and max out.  Other premium cards offer a travel credit that’s much easier to use.  Looks like Amex finally heard me out…

Southwest $49 Sale:  Airlines want your business.  While some still try to pack in as many people into their plane, regardless of social distance guidelines, Southwest isn’t one of them.  They still respect the empty middle seat rule.  Plus, they’re offering some great deals.

The Case Against ThankYou Points:  When deciding which flexible point currency to accumulate, it’s good to know the pros and the cons.  Many times we only read about the pros.  This article breaks it down nicely to help you decide.

Singapore Airlines Blocking Award Availability:  An appealing part of airline alliances is that you’re able to book award flights with partner miles.  Many times you’ll save miles by doing so.  However, Singapore Airlines is blocking award availability to its partners.

What Card Have You Used The Most During The Pandemic?:  This is an interesting question, yet a valid one.  Many of our spending habits changed with the pandemic.  With our constant pursuit of earning more points, we may have changed out our normal cards.  Do you agree that this card is an ideal one to use?

Book Cathay Pacific And Gol Flights On Aeroplan:  If given the option, many people prefer handling things themselves online as opposed to talking to someone on the phone.  Now Aeroplan has provided that option to customers by being able to book Cathay and Gol flights on Aeroplan.com

Automatic Check In For Southwest Flights:  While I love Southwest Airlines, I do get annoyed with having to check in 24 hours before my flight to secure a decent boarding position.  If only there was a way to do this automatically without having to pay Early Bird fees…
