How to Fix Airline Ticket Spelling Mistakes:  This happens quite often when booking flights, and also when having an award service book flights for you.  Fortunately minor or legitimate fixes are easy to do and shouldn’t cost you a dime.  It’s pretty scary to think that the airlines don’t really care much about name spelling.

Emirates Eliminating First Class on Some Routes:  This may not seem like a big deal to everyone, but if you’ve been eyeing an award seat on Emirates first class make sure you do your homework.  Their first class cabin will be eliminated on some routes so make sure that you know what you’re paying for with your points.

Do Not Disturb Policies Updated at Some Hotels:  Hilton and Walt Disney Resorts are updating their “Do Not Disturb” policies due to the Las Vegas shootings at Mandalay Bay.  Basically someone will need to check the room out daily to ensure the safety of guests and to make sure the room is still in one piece.  I think it’s a good idea.

Hyatt Makes Improvements to Loyalty Program for 2018:  Usually loyalty program changes are negative.  They’re either devaluing points, or require more points for flights or stays.  Free night award stays will count towards tier status with Hyatt.

US Citizens Able to get Turkey E-Visas Again:  Well this is a relief.  For a few months, American citizens could not get Turkish E-Visas.  Many folks traveling through Turkey purposely schedule long layovers in Istanbul in order to enjoy the sights for a while before hopping on their next flight.  Now you’re able to do this again!

Crazy Flight Deals to Europe:  There are some awesome deals going on for flights to Europe from various cities in the US.  Flight deals start at $275!  Norwegian, LEVEL, TAP Portugal, American and Lufthansa are offering their flight deals Stockholm, Barcelona, London, Rome and Paris.  Jump on these before they’re gone!

Hilton Improves Their Breakfast Perk!:  Hilton’s mid-tier status is among the best because it includes a great benefit at many of their properties… BREAKFAST!  This could be a big money saver especially when staying at their properties for a number of days.  Now you’re able to get breakfast at their Waldorf Astoria properties!

Fly to Europe in Business Class for 51K Points R/T:  Iberia is having an award sale which is very appealing if you’re wanting to visit Spain.  You could fly round trip in economy for 25.5K Avios or 51K in business class.  Check out the link for terms and conditions.
