Elevated Shopping Portal Offers:  Here is a list of higher payouts offered through shopping portals this week.  If you have a lot of shopping to do, you can give your mileage balances a boost by going through these shopping portals.

JetBlue Adds New Routes:  Most of the new routes are within the US, but there is one interesting route that was announced.  Orlando to Port Au Prince Haiti will begin on December 14, 2017.  Considering that JetBlue has great prices on paid and award flights, you could book a trip to Haiti with minimal effort.

Marriott Signs Agreements with Two Banks:  With the progressing of the Marriott and SPG merger, many are wondering which bank will end up with the combined program to offer as a credit card.  Well it seems like both of the current banks have signed agreements with Marriott..  There are not many details to this development, but we’ll be eagerly awaiting what the new credit card products will offer.

TIO Data Breach… Are You Affected?:  TIO is the latest to be hacked resulting in the site being shut down.  I’m sure many of our readers have used the service in the past to liquidate gift cards.  If you’ve used the service in the past please keep an eye on your credit report to make sure everything is ok on that end.

New Service to Hawaii:  If you live in or near the San Diego area, you should be glad that now you have the option to fly Hawaiian Airlines to Maui.  The new service starts in May 2018.  Also if you book by December 11, 2017 you could grab a great deal on a one way flight at $199.

Big Changes to JetBlue:  JetBlue has made some major changes recently and they’re not favorable to the consumer.  They’ve changed rules on their price adjustments and standby fees.  At one point their price adjustment rules were the same as Southwest Airlines, and now they’ve done a complete 180!

Maybe You Should Start Considering Aegean Miles:  Many folks, including myself ignore this program, but I admit this is a mistake.  You could get some great deals on Star Alliance flights.  They are currently offering a 40% bonus on purchased miles.  Give this program a look to see if it’ll work for your future travel plans.

IHG’s New Accelerate Promotion:  IHG is out with their new IHG Accelerate promotion.  If you’re not familiar with it, they offer you a set of tasks to earn points.  Those tasks are paid stays but the requirements differ for everyone.  Sometimes they’re good, and sometimes not so much.  What offer did you get?
